¿Rhaenyra Targaryen is gay in House of the Dragon? Answered

Because there are some differences between House of the Dragon and Fire & Blood by George Rr Martin (the book on which the series is based), Rhaenyra Targaryen's sexuality is currently ambiguous within the show. This rumor began when fans noticed her character's closeness with Alicent Hightower, which resulted in this last theory that could be true.

However, Fire & Blood's tradition and stories show her relations with men and a heated rivalry with Hightower, similar to what we have seen in the official trailer. In addition, several scenes show Rhaenyra looking with love to be Criston Cole, but this information could still mean that she is bisexual instead of a lesbian.

Fans will have to do with how her history develops in the jump in the time of House of the Dragon, since the first episode only represents her as a naive girl, unlike her older self that seems to have a search of power.

¿Rhaenyra Targaryen is evil?

Like many Targaryen, Rhaenyra's mission to seize the blind throne and, ultimately, makes her become a villain of the franchise, like her relative from her distant from her Daenerys in Game of Thrones. Although we have not seen this side of her in this recent episode of House of the Dragon, you can undoubtedly recognize signs of her personality of her in the advance of the video at the end of The Heirs of the Dragon and the progress of the program.

Those familiar with the timeline of the series know that Rheanyra is the main reason why the notorious civil war, Dance of the Dragons, begins along with other events that prove the evil characteristics of it. Unfortunately, many characters have fallen in this same destination due to her greed for inheriting the legendary iron throne.

With luck, this guide will give a better understanding of the new gay theory about Rhaenyra Targaryen , and we will have to wait and see what happens next for the character in future episodes.
