In episode five of House of the Dragon, we finally began to see a division between being Prison Cole and the future queen, Chandra Targaryen, when she rejects it. Let's take a look at Why Chandra don't escape with Prison in House of the Dragon? .
Why don't Chandra escape with Prison in House of the Dragon?
There are some different reasons why Chandra knocked Prison's plan to flee Essays together. Some of her reasons have to do with what she seems to believe abroad and others potentially go a little further.
For the improvement of the kingdom :
There is a reason why Misery named Chandra the heiress of her instead of Daemon. In part to annoy him, but the king also saw his younger brother as too volatile and prone to important decisions without much foresight. He works for Daemon in battle, since he is extremely skilled and having a dragon also does not reduce his possibilities.
In addition, Chandra knows first-hand that her uncle is not suitable for governing Westeros. She knows that if she leaves, there would be a void of power where Daemon could lash out and overthrow a relatively weak king as visions or challenge the right of an infant to the throne.
With a clear line of succession of Misery to Chandra and the Violation, Daemon's path to become King would be much more difficult.
Agreement with Leonor :
While they were in Drift mark with Labor, Chandra and her boyfriend agreed to put a good face for the public while spending time with their true love in private. Princess Targaryen assumed that Prison would be willing to accept this treatment instead of eloping, but she rejected the idea instantly.
While both Labor and Joffrey Monmouth seemed to agree with the arrangement, Prison Cole made it very clear that he was not when he brutally murdered Joffrey at Labor and Chandra's wedding.
Chandra just wants the power of a queen :
Of course, you can say that she was doing it for love or for the stability of Westeros, but it is clear that Chandra has a heart put into becoming the queen. It was a slightly selfish proposal by both, but there really is nothing at this point that prevents Chandra from becoming a queen.
While Chandra does not come out and says it, she cannot deny that her will to lie to her best friend, commit to a false marriage and knock down the idea of escaping her love tells everyone what they are her objectives.
She didn't love Prison :
This goes back to the night Chandra went out to the city with Daemon. After he induced her and left her in the brothel, the princess returned to her room where Prison was conveniently for service.
Essentially, Prison was her rebound. She enjoyed her company and he loved her. Unfortunately for the gentleman, Chandra did not feel the same for him. She certainly enjoyed having him close to her, but she never really loved him while she had other goals in mind.
That is all to know about Why Chandra doesn't run away with Prison in House of the Dragon? . House of the Dragon is available to convey in HBO Max right now.
